The Parker Palm Springs
June 22nd, 2010
{At The Lemonade Stand, an adorable place to order gourmet food (like Kobe Beef Hot Dogs) by the pool.}
This past weekend I had the pleasure of being put up at The Parker in Palm Springs. Between the exquisite property (complete with fire pits, hammocks, pools and croquet courts), the decor (done by Jonathan Adler), the wonderful meals and excellent service, I would have been content to never return home. We didn’t leave the property once throughout our stay and took full advantage of everything the hotel had to offer.
As extra incentive to experience your own getaway at The Parker, they’re extending an offer of 25% off your room rate for any 2-night stay between now and the end of summer (September 22, 2010).
Simply call 760.883.1966 by July 6th and mention “Cupcakes and Cashmere.”

{I loved eating breakfast out on our patio, complete with our own hammock. I ordered blueberry pancakes with devonshire cream.}

{The citrus-colored scene at Norma’s is almost as great as the food.}

{How fun is this huge chess board? I was obviously pretty enamored and spent entirely too much time here.}
{My deep tissue massage at the hotel’s spa, Palm Springs Yacht Club, was the perfect way to end a day spent in the sun.}

{Everything about our room was gorgeous, even the cherry red door.}

{Norma’s Doughnuts, with lemon custard and blueberry jam.}

{We took advantage of the Petanque court at dusk.}
{The lobby has such a great retro vibe, full of color and texture.}
{Since we couldn’t pick a favorite, we spent equal time at the chlorine-free saline pool and the jewel-box pool.}
