Swingy Skirts

Over the past several months, I’ve declared my obsession with short, swingy skirts ad nauseum. They’re a versatile and flirty departure from simple dresses and I love how they’re immediately dressed up if worn with some opaque tights. For one week only, Asos is offering 20% off most of the site, but of course I jumped right to their covetable selection of skirts and chose my top six.

I love all of these skirts! I don’t wear them nearly as often as I’d like, my legs are too long and therefore most are indecent on me.

These are so cute! Unfortunately, I have a few things working for me. My legs look like tree trunks, and I’m Mormon, so these are much shorter than I can wear.

But Blair and Serena on Gossip Girl look smashing in them, as I’m sure you do too.

And I’m torn over whether I like the way they’ve styled that flowery one…the white ankle socks with black shoes is a little too much of a throwback to sixth grade for me.

ohh remember you recommended I buy bare essentials minera makeup? I’m still trying to find a place that sells it down here, because I have to go through quite a process to buy online! I’ve heard it’s really good though so thanks for the suggestion!!
