Superbowl Snack: Brownie Burgers

I’ll be honest – the only thing I care about when it comes to the Superbowl is the food and the commercials. Superbowl snacks should be indulgent, festive, and easy-to-eat, which is why I knew I had to make these the minute I spotted them in this month’s Martha Stewart Living (instructions here). They’re a sweet twist on a classic hamburger, with peanut butter cookies as the bun, brownies for the meat, and dyed shredded coconut and royal icing for the lettuce and ketchup. They’re a fun way to embrace game day without feeling too predictable.

    I made these for my ladies fantasy football closing ceremonies party on Sunday and they were a huge hit. Some of the ladies took pictures of the dessert. Others asked to take an extra cookie/brownie home. Everyone was very impressed and they were so easy to make. I posted the picture of the final product onto instagram.
