I wouldn’t exactly call myself a spontaneous person. There’s something about the long, lazy days of summer though, that beg for random day trips to places you’ve never been. Since the temperatures were in the upper 90′s, we packed up the car and headed to Arrowhead Lake, where we were met with a cool breeze and clean air. We ate right along the water, spent far too much time in the souvenir shop and stocked up on homemade fudge for the ride back to the city.

I love this jumper and the fact that it says, “blah” all over it. I’m attending the conference you’re speaking at for Fashion Week and I am so excited!!
That is one of the best parts of living in California that I miss. You can change your surroundings on a wim and end up having the exact day you wanted for nothing more than a fun, realtively short road trip.

At first I thought the pattern on your romper was so cute, then I looked closer and saw it said “blah.” Love it!! Getting away for day trips is so fun! I love that it is a great mental break from the routine, yet you get to sleep in your own bed at night. I often take trips to Carmel and Monterrey like this.
