Summer Barbecue
Even though we recently purchased our own grill, there’s nothing better than heading to a summer barbecue (bonus points if it’s at the beach). I love the idea of wearing a retro-inspired crop top with classic cut-offs and finishing it off with the simplest of accessories. Since it’s almost a guarantee that temperatures will drop drastically by the time you’ve moved onto the S’mores, a grandpa knit is infinitely chicer than an old sweatshirt pulled out of the trunk of the car. Something I’ve done more times than I care to admit.

I recently got a long grey cardigan with little bow details and some sparkle – it goes with almost anything, it’s great. I’m wearing coral on my nails, too, it’s currently my favourite colour! Great outfit!

I just got a manicure yesterday, and if I’d seen that orange in the salon’s OPI polish offerings, I would’ve totally left decked out in it. My conservative coworkers may have looked at me strangely, but I wouldn’t have cared!

I’ve been on the hunt for a cheaper version of J. Crew’s Panama hat. Any ideas? So far it has been my favorite of all the fedoras, but I just know if I buy it, I’ll sit on it or my dog will jump on it and ruin it.

What a great shade of nail polish! I really love different and funky polish colors for summer. This blog has even more great manicure ideas.
Love the whole look, even the white shorts, which is shocking for me. I actually just tried on that Panama hat in J. Crew, and it was just too masculine perhaps for my face. so I opted for the floppy beach hat instead. It’s the perfect fabulous accessory I need for my trip to spain next week!
