Elizabeth and James Sunglasses, J.Crew Necklace, Zara Blouse and Skirt, Reed Krakoff Bag, Prada Shoes, Michael Kors Watch, Vintage and J.Crew Bracelets, Revlon Orange Flip Lipstick

I’m not usually one to scoop up the same item in multiple colors (as I did with this top in both white and black), but I found it far too versatile to pass up. It’s structured enough to pair with sleek silhouettes, but also casual enough to balance out a pair of relaxed jeans. Yesterday I decided to dress it up and added a swipe of orange lipstick, threw my hair up in a bun and put on my favorite cat-eye glasses.

    I’m sorry that you now find my blog out of reach. Though I do own more designer items than I did when I first started out (which is a result of a lot of hard work on my site), I’m very mindful to balance my outfits posts with different price points (ie mixing J.Crew and Zara with Prada). I hope to show that it’s not about how much you spend on an item (the shirt I wrote this post about was under $50), but how you mix and match it with other pieces in your closet.
