Spring Uniform
I’d be happy dressing in slight variations of J.Crew’s entire spring line from here on out. A crisp blazer, t-shirt, tangle of chains and you’re out the door. Of course I’ll make sure things don’t ever get too monotonous by throwing on different pants (rolled up khakis one day and boyfriend jeans the next), switching between oxfords and wedges and occasionally doing my hair differently.

If you’re going to have a uniform, this is a good one to have. I also love how a tailored jacket looks with cargos or silk pants or hareem pants…the juxtaposition can be so pretty/edgy.
You know what’s funny, btw? My morning routine consists of taking care of D, then getting on the computer to finish my blog post and coming over to see yours. It’s just funny because you’re sound asleep and yet I start my mornings by “chatting” with you!! God, do I need coffee and solid foods right now.
I would be perfectly happy to dress like a J. Crew model every day. I love the blazers with cutoffs- so cute.
J Crew is tough for me. I always love the look in print and on a mannequin but when I get into the dressing room I have issues with the fit… every few months I give it another try.

I hear ya Deconstructed Life but I go into the store and I try and try. I do love blazers, t-shirts and necklaces right now. I also tried the J.Crew keds with suit look. Ah, no. Didn’t work.
I just love this casual look from J Crew. It’s so comfortable and easy to throw on. I think it’s so fun to pair a really feminine necklace or bracelet with a pair of boyfriend jeans or blazer.

yes, love this look — what I’ve been wearing basically all winter: blazer, drapey shirt, jeans, cords or skirt, repeat. For spring/summer, I’m just changing my shoes from flats and oxfords to sandals and flip flops.
