So This is Christmas

Whether or not you celebrate Christmas, nobody can deny the heartfelt appeal of holiday movies.  My top five favorites range from animated classics to modern romance and always put me in the best of seasonal spirits.  So make some popcorn, curl up with a cozy blanket and revisit your childhood with some festive films.

What are your favorite holiday films?

Great picks!! I like all these, and I must add “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation”, haha. So silly.

Aaron and I have been watching a different Christmas movie every night to get into the whole xmas spirit, it’s nice!

Serendipity, it’s not really about Christmas but set in the winter and they always play it around the holiday season

my alltime favorit is ” It’s a Wonderful Life”. My parents and I watch it together every year, and it always makes me cry ( in a happy way of course!)

I agree with – ‘its a wonderful life’ ,and ‘Home alone’ – but I have to add ‘Elf ‘starring Will Ferrell, I love it! It makes me laugh and feel so festive!

I have to say I love It’s a Wonderful Life and I’m a sucker for the classic animated short films; Frosty, Rudolph, etc.

I posted a holiday viewing schedule in case you want to try to catch some of these on TiVo this year.

love actually definitely comes first, wonderful movie although I have to admit I got a wee bit tired of it after watching it at least two times 5 years in a row!

16 Rachel { 12.10.08 at 12:16 pm }

Hey! Why didn’t Little Women make the list? I guess it isn’t necessarily a Christmas movie.
It’s so old school, but I think I still love Miracle on 34th Street more than any other Christmas movie out there.

17 Kristina { 12.10.08 at 12:21 pm }

Honestly, I don’t love most Christmas movies. I do like “Elf”, though.

18 Fashion CHALET { 12.10.08 at 12:42 pm }

Thank you.
I do wear it most of the time, but usually I forget when I get dressed. I always wear it when remember to put it on. I don’t like to sleep with it on because I am afraid of losing it, so sometimes I step out sans ring. You can see it in this set. :)
