Wren Romper, Express Belt, Linea Pelle Bag, Gap Jacket, Zara Platforms
The sweet ladies over at Wren sent over this romper several months back (as well as this skirt, necklace and these tops) and I’m so glad I brought it with me. It has such great weight to it, which is perfect since yesterday was yet another frigid day in New York. After attending the Jill Stuart show in the morning at the New York Public Library (lots of messy hair, smoky cat-eye make-up and safari ensembles), I spent the rest of the afternoon with Melisa, (of The Lil Bee and Feather Report) in a giggly bellini buzz.

First to comment… You look beautiful! And you are the only one to pull off socks and sandals (follow me on twitter @racheltabb)
OMG here I am, comment number one!! Wouldn’t you know, D-dubs woke up right on schedule at 2:45am, so I thought I’d unwind by checking twitter and … VOILA! I cannot even put into words how fun/funny yesterday was, Em. OMG is all I can say, and you know exactly what that pertains to! Your email KILLED me. SO so fun to see you, as always, and I can’t wait for you to come back (or for me to return to LA!) I suppose this is turning into more of an email than a comment, but that’s what you get at 3am on 3 hours sleep!! Talk soon, munchkin:) xoxo Me
OK, make that comment number almost-one! Night, night:)
Love your outfit!
the belt is gorgeous, but you must be freezing!
How adorable!!! It looks so perfect on you!!!
You look great in it! I could never pull it off!
I love the shoes! The bag! And the smile! Not loving the pouchy pleated pockets on that romper, though–you’ve got a great figure of course, but it’s just not flattering on any shape.
I love the belt and kudos for the top model attitude! Your lil butt must have been freezing out there!
xxx
those platforms are really cool, you paired them perfectly!
The first thing I noticed were the romper’s short sleeves — which in frigid temps is a surprise to say the least — but I liked the outfit, you pull it off really nicely!

Great romper. The one piece of Wren I own is this fantastic black high waisted skirt from this great little boutique in SoHo. It’s the best black skirt I’ve ever owned.
Wow, the Express belt is pretty gorgeous. Love the look – cool, but not chilly in the city!
Love the outfit! And you look glamazon tall next to the person walking by! Fashion Show in the NY Public Library?! TDF – sooo SATC

save the romper for the spring. It’s the middle of winter!! I know that you love fashion , yadda, yadda, but that is no excuse for catching pneumonia.

I am seriously on the fence about rompers, but the cut on the top of that one is amazing! And you totally pull it off with the belt.

Hi from Mommy blog land. I love that romper and have such dreams of having my own. The dilemna is – I am 6’1 and can’t find one long enough. I noticed your romper cuts at your ankles – is that okay? Am I being old school in thinking it should be longer? If not, I am running out right now!! lol. You pull it off cause you are just fabulous!
Love the shoes!

I can’t stress enough how glad I am that I got to meet you and Melissa last night. You guys are basically the reason that I started {and continued} my blog and meeting you two was just fantastic. I’ve been loving your blogs since my blogger beginning and last night made it feel full circle. You’re both inspirational and SO down to earth…I hope you enjoy the rest of fashion week- excited to see where else you eat!
Re-reading my comment I hope I don’t sound too dorky….haha, I think I’m a little too expressive.
love the romper emily, also really enjoy your ensembles!! gorgeous!
I love the romper. I love the shoes and the belt- amazing. You look like you belong in NYC. Are you lovin’ it?? Almost over huh? Great style Emily. http://dashofclass.blogspot.com
I love how everyone else in the background is dressed normally (i.e. prepared for cold weather)
Oh well! I guess it was all worth it?
Wow! Awesome! Those are lovely shoes. I am looking forward to buy one for my sister on her coming birthday. ;D

Honesty goes alot further than blowing smoke up someones a55… that romper is too short, if it were a little longer in the leg, perfect! But its not.. its too short and doesn’t look very good from the knee down.. lucky you and the shoes are gorgeous
i love leather in that colour!!
you look adorable, but weren’t your toes cold? open toes in the snow? i’d be terrified of frostbite! im all for fashion but not at the risk of getting sick!
Hello!
This is my first time reading ur blog and I’m already in love!
You remind me of a modern-day Carrie Bradshaw! <3 ur quirky style!

you look great, but weren’t you cold?! It’s been freezing the past few weeks in NYC
You look lovely. I really adore the belt!
Tell me your killer shoes are current I must have them!!! I am so inspired by your style!
Is that first picture real? Because everyone in the background is seriously bundled up in layers upon layers and you’re standing outside in a little short sleeved thing! I have the feeling that you “photo shopped” your way into that.
My goodness but I do love those shoes! I love that color; who are they by?
ps I just started my own blog… I’m a total newbie, and I was wondering if you could offer me any pointers. Thanks!
wow those shoes are just perfect
how long ago did you get them at zara?

Wowza, that looks uhmayzing on you!!
