Vintage Aviators, Forever 21 Top, BB Dakota Shorts, Jenny Yuen Bag, Michael Kors Watch, Vintage Bracelet, Seychelles Heels
I used to exclusively carry large purses since I simply had too much stuff to cart around (or so I thought). I now realize that two extra pairs of sunglasses, different flavors of gum and several magazines are not imperative to have with me at all times. Thanks to the ladies over at Jenny Yuen, who sent over my lovely Gia bag, I’ve successfully paired down my necessities to fit perfectly into this buttery leather purse.

Love your outfit! The shorts are so pretty. I so know what you’re talking about. I always carry way too many things with me. A DSLR, scarf (even when it’s summer), sunglasses, water, etc etc.
Oh wow…I don’t know if I could do a bag that small but it’s so cute…and you’re right, maybe I dont need 2 mags and ten lipglosses. You look so pretty and summery!

Loving that outfit. Whenever I go out I use a small purse and can really only bring 2 or 3 little items - it always feels so freeing! Still don’t think I could completely ditch my big bags though…

Yes, those shorts are sooo cute! A smaller purse is just a dream for me right now…with kiddos it’s really hard to lug around crayons and little cars in that cute Gia bag!

Adorable bag! I’m the same way though with large bags. I always feel like there are so many things I always need to have with me (i.e. a bottle of water, a book, my day planner) plus I’m a journalist so I typically carry a notebook, pen and camera with me too. I do have a few smaller bags though for when I take off my journalist’s hat and I love them!
p.s. The top is really cute too and I love when people who know fashion/dress really well don’t have all terrible things to say about Forever 21.

I can’t do the small bag thing. At all. Too much stuff I need. But I love this outfit…the denim shorts are such a nice colour and pair so well with the florals and the bag.

I suffer from the “enormous bag with too much shit in it disease” as well…somehow I can’t seem to shake it but I am getting better…I can’t leave the house without my camera but I’m getting a little better at accepting my point and shoot when going out for long days bc I think I’m giving myself a hernia…AND ruining the inside of my bags, as well! this one is so beautiful…and that color reminds me of caramel candies melting in my mouth. divine! loves it.

This is so funny! I am exactly the same. Have only recently started wearing smaller bags and realsising that i don’t have to carry the whole contents of my life in my bag! Small bags can be just as cute. Also much less painful on my back!
Sometimes I forget how nice small bags can be!
And very refreshing not to bring everything with you all the time!
