You can tell the holiday season is quickly approaching by all of the metallic little pieces that have suddenly infiltrated every store. Sparkly silvers and shiny sequins now line the sleeves of sweaters and the hems of dresses. I picked up this tiered skirt in hopes that I could downplay its festive overtones with neutral pieces until it’s seasonally appropriate. Since it happened to be sweltering yesterday, I complemented it with a cropped tank top and orange platforms.

anyhoo, it was sweltering yesterday! and even last night it was pretty warm. I usually prefer warmer weather, but this so cal girl is ready for some days and nights that feel like fall!
