Even though I live in Los Angeles, where jeans are the staple of almost everyone’s wardrobe, I rarely wear denim. This pair of 7’s is the one exception since I’ve had them since college and they’re unbelievably soft and versatile. I threw them on with a vintage blazer and one of my new shark tooth necklaces, which will be featured in my Etsy shop later this week.
As a person who hasn’t fully embraced denim, what’s your favorite line and/or style?

Here, in the south of France, we use to wear it very simply: in summer, with a white marcel contrasting with our sun-kissed skin, golden jewels, huge earrings particularly are indispensable, and wild hair!
In winter, many girls wear them with a blazer like you do, a black turtle neck, brushed hair and very high heels!
It’s funny to think most of us here wear them this way… and it’s never boring!
I love the outfit, very simple and…sophisticated-looking at the same time! And that necklace is so pretty!

very cute. i don’t have a particular jean that i love. i just search and search and search until i find a pair that works for me, and then wear them until they begin to rip (and often, after)!
You look great! I wear jeans way too often, but they’re so easy, you know? Paige Denim is great and Madewell (the J.Crew spinoff) has really nice skinny jeans.
I could wear jeans and a blazer everyday… although now the temps are rising, blazers will be only for evenings out and about or chilly days. Sevens straight leg are my favorite! Actually any straight leg are great – they are the new “skinny”!

I love Habitual and Hudson jeans… they both fit great, even when you’re having a “fat” day! As we all probably know, that’s very important.

LOVE the shark tooth necklace, I may need to own that. Jeans are my everyday staple (sad, but true) and I am beyond picky about them. Citizens for Humanity are tried & true, my favorites, even over Sevens.
Oh my God, girl. Get yourself into a pair of Acne Jeans and you will never take them off. In Sweden (where I usually live), they’re practically mandatory. And for good reason, because they’re amazing and are now the only jeans I wear.
I am not one to spend a lot on denim. Because even the expensive ones seem to wear out just as fast. I get a lot of my jeans at TJ Maxx and always seem to find these obscure brands with great fits and washes. I also am currently obbsessed with F21’s $12.50 denim. They fit me like a glove and have simple detailing (I don’t like overt branding on the booty). I have three pairs, and at that price I am planning on stocking up on plenty more.

My favorite jeans are American Eagle Outfitters 77 Straight. I have 3 pairs. They fit me perfectly and somehow work with flats and heels. They can also role into capris easily. The short size is the perfect length for me (I’m 5′1). For a splurge, I love Paige jeans, but they definitely need hemming.
I am loving Foxy Jeans right now. They’re fairly inexpensive ($70 or $80 CND) and are based out of Montreal. Beautiful cuts and washes.

it’s so funny how i would solely wear denim in school, and now i can’t remember the last time i wore a pair of jeans. but back then, 7s and Paige were my favorites in terms of fit. Some True Religion fit well, although I can’t stand that pocket.
and what a great way to revamp an old pair of favorite jeans! i’m going to root through my jeans and see which ones i can turn into bf jeans.

Rock & Republic is an amazing line of denim. Lately, I have become a fan of Joe’s Jeans(especially the distressed ones). I am a huge denim girl!!
I love that look! I have to agree that my 7’s are probably my favorite pair, although I have a pair of matchstick cropped jeans by AG that I adore and wear all the time. Yep — those are my two fave brands.
I’m not much of a jeans girl myself, but my denim mini gets PLENTY of weekend use.

Even with all the fancy brands out there, I don’t think I’ve ever found jeans that fit me as well as the ones from American Eagle. Luckily for me, because they are cheap!
So I probably haven’t worn jeans in 2 years, something about the Honolulu heat makes my hair frizz just thinking about it…..but this look totally makes me wanna break out my jeans!
I adore jeans. The ones that I normally wear are my 7s, Citizens, and Rich and Skinny. I like the Matchstick jeans from JCrew. They are comfortable, and I got them from the JCrew Outlet for $30 plus a 10% student discount. Not bad for jeans that are about $100.
love this look. I’m a blazer and jeans kind of girl. I really love my rag & bone dark skinny jeans and my Levi’s skinnies. I am unbiased when it comes to brand, I just buy what fits me.

I love jeans and a blazer! I find that skinny jeans fit well. I recently bought a pair of AG non-skinny jeans that are SO comfortable!

I happen to be OBSESSED with all things denim! I have way too many pairs of jeans…and jean shorts, jean jackets, the FINALLY popular again denim vest…etc. My favorite brands for fit would have to be 7 For All Mankind and Paige Denim. I love Frankie B’s for their unique pockets and I love Citizens for wearing out at night….I work for a denim company and can give pretty advice on pretty much anything in this department.

I am not a denim snob, so I wear anything from cheap Old Navy jeans (seriously one pair I have is the most flattering ever) to reliable Mavie, to stretchy Forever 21 jeans to Hudson or Adriana Goldschelger or however you spell it
if you must have high-end I reccommend Hudson though, I love their style. I have yet to try anything new or too expensive though – for my horrible lower body, if it looks good I’ll take it, I don’t care if it’s a no-name brand or not!
