When I bought this skirt last week, I was unsure how well it would work with the rest of my wardrobe. It wasn’t particularly practical or versatile, with its asymmetrical cut and whispery fabric, but somehow it’s become one of those pieces that works with everything. I’ve since worn it several different ways to accommodate the varying temperatures these past few days – with a slouchy sweater, a tissue-thin tank top, and a jewel-colored silk blouse.

Don’t you just love it when that happens and it becomes such a great staple in your closet?! I really like the color of the skirt, I like the subtlety! Normally I’m not the biggest fan of a messy bun (dutch girls really over-do it) but you as usual make it work!

Well, considering the number of people who went to dresses & skirts with this kind of asymmetric cut I was unsure that I would wear it but seeing your look I sparkled with pretty much strong desire to try it out! So, two options for me: buy new one or DIY my chiffon skirt with straight cut.

The first thing that popped into my head when I saw the first photo of you was you look like Lady Gaga on a casual dress day! This is a compliment of course, just incase you weren’t sure. I have this skirt! I bought it at the Zara in Montreal and came home and had no idea how to wear it! I paired it with black tights and chunky jeffrey campbell heels and a statement necklace
