Some months I discover new products rather easily - after reading about them or hearing rave reviews from multiple friends. But these three took me a while to find. For years I used eye makeup remover pads, which were convenient, but always ended up feeling greasy or stinging my eyes, so I'd been on the lookout for something that removed mascara with no pain or weird residue. The same went for tracking down a hair serum that would make my hair look and feel sleek without weighing it down. Lastly, after seeing an influx of bright blue liner all over the runways back in September, I'd been looking for one that looked as bold on the eye as it did in the packaging. Here are the three items I'm loving most this month.

lancome

Lancome Bi-Facil Eye Makeup Remover At first I balked at the price of this makeup remover, but after realizing how often I use it (every single night), it made a lot more sense. This goes on smoothly, takes off all of my eyeliner/mascara/eyeshadow in one swipe and leaves my skin feeling hydrated.

Kerastase Cristalliste Lumière Liquide I've tried virtually every serum out there that helps control frizz, while also adding a bit of shine, and this one is the best. A little goes a long way and it works just as well on damp hair before a blowout as it does to contain dry flyaways, after it's been styled.

blue

Maybelline Eyeshadow Quad in Electric Blue I'm not usually one for a bright eyeshadow, as it feels too reminiscent to the '80s palettes I used to borrow from my mom's bathroom. But now I like the look of a swipe of a bright liner that hugs the lash line and this blue shade adds the perfect jolt of color.
