here). xAfter a year of writing, photographing, recipe testing and tasting, styling, and planning, a book emerged...and the first advances arrived two nights ago. It was one of the more exhilarating (and terrifying) moments coming home to find the package waiting at my doorstep - smelling the new pages, feeling its weight. I'm so proud of how it all came together and thought I'd share a few snippets from each of the different sections (style, beauty, at home, and food & entertaining) until it's officially available on August 1st. I'm also going to be appearing on the 9:30am hour of The Today Show next Wednesday, June 13th. This is my first time on national TV and I'm seriously nervous, but can't wait!
