Semi DIY – Suede Fringe Pumps

September 30th, 2010

When it comes to fall footwear, it doesn’t get much better than suede.  It’s luxurious without being prissy and has the ability to transform summery clothes into cold weather attire (as seen here and here).  These Yves Saint Laurent pumps are such a great twist on a classic and I love the impact they’d make every time you’d leave a room. I certainly can’t justify the price, which is why I’d opt for this Steve Madden alternative and simply adhere black feather fringe with a glue gun.   Easy and affordable.

It’s a great idea, when I first saw the YSL shoes though I wasn’t really a fan of the fringe on the heel.

It’s like putting extensions on a pair of shoes. I don’t know if I would wear this, but I love the concept.

your brilliant at idea and i love those shoes but not so much the fringing. maybe some studs or spikes (although potentially not a good idea..) and i’d be in. thank you for your inspiring posts.
