[...] I’ve always loved the idea of staying in a hotel in my home town. It’s terribly indulgent and a fun way to see the area in which you live in a completely new light. This past weekend I stayed at Cavallo Point, a historical hotel tucked right at the base of the Golden Gate Bridge, and minutes from where my parents still live. Yes! Whenever I travel back home to Denver, instead of staying with family (under the guise of not wanting to ‘put them out’), I love to stay at the amazing boutique hotel The Magnolia.

how very cool, i am going to SF in 2 weeks, love it there! and yes, when you live in NV (about 11 miles up in the hills overlooking the strip), Vegas is the perfect stay-cation destiny!
