Ray Ban Wayfarers, Alexander Wang Top, Martin + Osa Necklace, Elizabeth and James Shorts, Alaia Heels, Melissa Joy Manning Rings, Michael Kors Watch

I’ve never embrace safari-inspired clothes since I worry they’re too androgynous to fit in with the rest of my wardrobe. Magazine spreads perfectly juxtapose sweet, frilly skirts with army green jackets, but it doesn’t always translate as well in real life. Elizabeth and James’s Dhoti Shorts have changed my mind entirely. I was generously gifted these slouchy shorts and I already know they’re going to be my new uniform paired with all of my thin, slouchy shirts. They’re forgiving in all of the right places and the slate gray makes them amazingly versatile; even for those of us with the girliest of closets.

I have a similar pair of shorts from last summer and i love them! this reminded me that I have them! they are an absolute staple to my wardrobe! I love the dark gray though they can mixed and matched with lots of stuff!

oohh..I’m not usually a shorts gal since I tend to prefer skirts and dresses but these are amazing. they almost remind of a very updated and way more cool and stylish version of z cavarraccis. remember those? they were hot…ha! I love elizabeth and james and these are fabulous. I love the color and agree that they look amazing with a simple t-shirt…these light and airy kinds are my favorite for summer.

The shorts are questionable, but I think you pull it off nicely. Love the shoes and the shirt was the right touch of casual to fit the style of the shorts.

Girl, you are ROCKING those shorts! Love it! Also, your legs look amazing. You are a total inspiration for me to get to the gym! Also, I’ve been wondering, how tall are you? You pull of so many different looks so well, which I tend to have a hard time doing as I’m on the shorter side (5’3″), and I can never tell from your photos if your tall or short. Please tell me your short! It would give me hope, lol.

I’m obsessed with the whole safari look right now, though I love you’re subtle take on it! I think my adoration comes from working at Disney’s Animal Kingdom – our costumes were not exactly stylish, but it got me to look more into the trend and find a way to do it in a girly and fun way.

I would first like to say that I absolutely adore your fashion sense! I stumbled upon this blog and now have been addicted to the various ways you put together your clothes. I’m not usually that girly and am typically turned off when I see very girly outfits but you have a subtle way of doing it that I appreciate. But I’ve been struggling with something and figured I would ask for your opinion. I work at an office at a college but it’s mandatory for us to wear these horrible crew cut shirts of various colors with our logo plastered across. Because of these shirts I dread getting ready in the morning and usually just pair it with jeans and slug out the door. I was wondering if you’d have any suggestions of spicing it up a bit? It would be greatly appreciated!
