Root Beer Float Popsicles

April 20th, 2011

This past weekend (back when it was still sweltering) I decided to do something about our Popsicle addiction. We already owned these clever rocket-shaped molds, but found ourselves too impatient to wait several hours for our frozen treats. Enter: Zoku Quick Pop Maker. Yes, paying $50 for what could be done with some paper cups and wooden sticks is extravagant, but homemade Popsicles in mere minutes was far too tempting. For our first attempt, we made Root Beer Cream-sicles (recipe from Ice Pops) and they were the ideal complement to the afternoon sun.
