I love the process of checking into a hotel. After I took a long bath and ordered some soup, I slipped into a fresh robe and watched Coyote Ugly, something my boyfriend would never sit through on a normal night. The city’s alive with sparkling lights and I can’t wait to go for a long walk tomorrow morning.

Yeah, hotels are like a parallel universe, aren’t they? I’m going away this Christmas (not to a hotel, but I won’t be at MY house for a week) and I really can’t wait to indulge in all the little things.

Have fun here…it’s so fabulous in NY right now…I just went to the tree last night and two tourists asked me to take their photo in front of it….so much fun! You have to let us know where you shopped, ate and walked around!

I LOVE the candy garlands! I might just go and make some for my flat (although they’d be even better for a party as then I wouldn’t end up eating them all by myself).
