Purple Haze

Twigs & Honey Flower, Ray-Ban Sunglasses, Joie Top, Zara Skirt, Vintage Chanel Bag, Prada Heels, Topshop Cuffs, XIV Karats and Melissa Joy Manning Rings

 This blouse is a bit of an anomaly in my closet since I’m usually opposed to any colors that even closely resemble purple. I bought it last winter and somehow it’s become one of those pieces I’ve been pairing with just about everything – from white skinny jeans to my leather mini skirt. I wore this out for brunch this past weekend with friends in Venice and after a very filling meal, I was quite content that I had chosen such a voluminous top.

    The blouse and top are nice, but they would work better if you had used different accessories to pull the colors together. For example, multicolored wedge sandals with some purple and black in them.

    Also can’t stand purples (must be a taurean thing ) but this is a very pretty shirt and seems to appear more pink then purple!

    wow. i was thinking the outfit choices may be a tiny mismatched just because i would personally not have added the flower, but overall, the color of the blouse, the sharp bracelet accessory and leather skirt with nude heels let the purple stand out and shine on you. the whole point is that you are doing this blog while other people are not. it is easy to be criticized while you are on stage. shame on people for being mean about it. i like you and your guts.

    This top is not very flattering on you I’m sorry to say… and your leather mini skirt isn’t either with this top… the outfit makes you look wider than you really are… I am also kinda surprised about you wearing a leather mini skirt to brunch? This post left me with the feeling of “wait was that it?”… I think you should try to listen to your followers more and seek to help THEM not just show them what you wear that none of us can afford/find anywhere… i just really don’t get much out of your blog.
