Pretzel Dogs

June 5th, 2012

Summertime to me means baseball games (fact: I’m a diehard Oakland A’s fan and cringe at all of the Giants bandwagoners that emerged after their World Series victory two years ago). I grew up going to games with my dad, which also meant peanuts, cotton candy and, of course, hot dogs. Hot dogs are one of my favorite indulgences, only made better when baked inside a homemade pretzel roll. I followed Joy’s recipe and they were insanely irresistible –  three of us polished off the entire batch in one sitting.

I’ve never been caught with my hand in the proverbial cookie jar but, as a kid, I was, literally, caught with my hand in the mustard jar. Love that condiment, and love those fantastic pretzel rolls!
