Lazy Days
There’s something so wonderfully casual about summer that just doesn’t apply to the other seasons. Yesterday I spent the day by the Viceroy pool with co-workers and though I anticipated middle school-esque awkwardness, it turned out to be quite the opposite. A slightly overcast morning morphed into a beautiful afternoon and set the stage for a relaxing weekend.

Were you out at your summer outing? My company’s was yesterday but I didn’t get to go because I had too much work to do. Those chocolate covered strawberries are making me hungry!
I love the Viceroy! I just went to the one in Palm Springs but omg…the heat was INSANITY.

Ahhh…peach bellinis. Can I just tell you how badly I want one?! They are my absolute fave. I love how the chocolate desserts appear to be floating in air at first glance!

Love the Viceroy! Except I went there for my bday back in April and there was a skeezy manager there - and while he did hook us up with drinks - kept emailing me with inappropriate advances. Luckil he’s out of there! The Viceroy is still wonderful though.

Peach bellinis would pretty much make the weekend for me!
I’d recognize that fabulous wall of plates anywhere! Oh, we stayed there in May. It was such fun, like stepping back in time.
Next time you’re in the neighborhood, might I recommend the Orange Blueberry Pancakes at Cora’s Coffee Shoppe across the street on Ocean. Genius.
