Picnic in the Park

This past Saturday, with weather that rivaled perfection, I celebrated turning a quarter of a century old, accompanied by two of my best friends and my boyfriend. I typically despise the attention that arrives on May 3rd, since it builds an unwarranted amount of pressure, but I welcomed a relaxed picnic in the shade. After we finished our assortment of cheeses, caprese sandwiches and red velvet cupcakes, we headed over to an adjacent park with bare feet and full stomachs.
