Madewell Dress, Vintage Belt, Vintage and J.Crew Bracelets, Marc Jacobs Bag, Forever 21 Mary Janes
This summer I’ve been living in crisp shirt dresses. They’re more refined than classic cotton, but just as comfortable and I love their slightly androgynous feel. I balance them out with feminine accessories, like these platform sandals from Forever 21 that are nearly identical to the Miu Mius I lusted after this past spring. I’ll be wearing them with bare legs for the next couple of months, but with ribbed tights in unexpected shades of mustard and eggplant in the fall.

The shoes are great — I always get nervous about buying F21 shoes because I’m not sure if they will just rub blisters on my poor feet if they aren’t well-constructed. Maybe I’ll give them a try though!

In case anyone else was curious about the dress she’s wearing … I spoke with a Madewell rep this morning and apparently its part of the fall collection and will be in stores this week.
Loved the mjs as soon as I saw them on the f21 site! I was debating whether to get them because they were just in the polka dot print, so I went to my F21 and found they had the solid black pair, the polka dot, AND a daisy print like the actual Miu Mius! Got both the black and daisy print. Excited to see you where them in more posts
I love the look but as a photographer I have to comment on the processing of the photos! I love the blue undertones – they look like something we’d see in W. I also love the way they play off the muted color of your dress and nails. loves!

I love the color of the dress and the way you’ve accessorized it here with a little gold jewelry and black accessories. I can’t believe those shoes are from Forever 21 – they’re absolutely adorable and remind of Miu Miu quite a bit. (Then again, Forever 21 does have a certain penchant for copying other designers.)
