Palm-Lined

Pencey Jacket, Ray-Ban Aviators, Topshop Shirt, Rag & Bone Jeans, Prada Heels, Tiffany & Co. Clutch, Essie Boxer Shorts Nail Polish

Traditional varsity jackets are a bit too pink-lady-meets-quarterback for my taste and any kind of bulky outerwear is usually not a welcomed addition to my closet. But when I saw this silky thin, palm-print jacket (I mean, the color is called “Beverly Hills”), I knew it was an ideal compromise. I don’t own many statement pieces, primarily because they’re not as versatile, but every once in a while, whether in the form of a cobalt heel or a kitschy jacket, it’s a fun splurge to take.

I love this look for spring — and it reminds me so much of the classic vintage wallpaper at the Beverly Hills Hotel!

I absolutely love quirky pieces as well, but I have such trouble incorporating them into my wardrobe. It really is hard to make them versatile. I think I need to spend more time pondering the purchase and less on impulse buying cute things.
