With New York Fashion Week only days away, it’s hard not to get excited by the influx of über stylish women that are about to descend on the city. Every season brings with it new trends, but I love how a basic black ensemble never goes out of style.

i love those black heels!
i have to admit…about 65% of my wardrobe is black. it just always goes with everything and is so practical and stylish.
I love how the ‘basic black’ ensembles anything but basic! I guess black just makes everything look classic and slick.
I live the first picture and that could just as well be me in my all black get up day after day. I work right across from the tents and it is really fun to watch especially when I walk past to get lunch.

That eye makeup is so awesome. I have never managed to do more than a very light smoky eye without feeling too costume-y. It must be so fun to be a model and get to wear such beautiful clothes.
