With New York Fashion Week only days away, it’s hard not to get excited by the influx of über stylish women that are about to descend on the city. Every season brings with it new trends, but I love how a basic black ensemble never goes out of style.

    oh, absolutely. One good thing about NYC is that if you don’t know what to wear, you can never go wrong with black + interesting accessories. Love the dangling chain gloves!!

    Black clothes dominate my closet, for sure. I cannot wait for all the runway and runway spectator photos to hit the web! If I can’t be there, immersing myself in the photos is the second best way to experience it. Also, is that last photo Kate Lanphear?
