Office Space

October 26th, 2010

One of the best and worst parts of interior decorating is that you’re never really finished.  That’s not to say that a room can’t feel polished and pretty, but I usually end up deeming everything as a “work in progress.”  Art work is left unframed, mirrors lean up against walls and dead light bulbs remain unchanged for months.  My office is still coming together, but instead of waiting until everything’s perfect, here’s a glimpse at some of my recent finds (like my cow hide rug, antique gold bucket/trashcan, art from Etsy, paperweights and vintage mirror).

Love, love, love it! I’ve always wanted a home office. I could die, you should include a wide angle shot of the entire room!

So far it looks amazing. I have been wanting to do pale pink forever. Our landlord won’t go with it. I love the way it looks against all the white! x

Bravo for embracing and photographing. We bought my “dream” house a couple years ago, dreaming to be there forever. I had a whole list of what I wanted to do. Then, 6 months ago, hubby got an amazing opportunity, but it involved leaving our dear little house empty for a few years and moving to California. A treat, but still, I never often took pictures around my house, outside of parties or events, and now I long to see “home” again sometimes! How I wish I had some photos of how it was, just “good enough.”

P.S. – I love you — your outfits, the meals… the whole asthetic! Keep it coming!
