Cupcakes and Cashmere

Noteworthy

Call me old-fashioned, but anytime I receive a piece of mail that isn’t in the form of a bill, I’m ecstatic. Though I spend the majority of my time drafting emails and communicating via instant messenger at work, the art of letter writing is a lost form. I’ve always favored blank greeting cards to avoid the long, corny inscriptions that hide within. Vera Wang, though most widely known for her gorgeous wedding gowns, also has an impressive line of stationary, all of which is simple and classic. I chose this particular set because of the clean lines and unexpected pop of lilac inside the envelope. Though it’s never easy to motivate oneself to write thank-you notes, they’re always appreciated and having pretty stationary makes it far more enjoyable.

I’m a huge, huge Vera Wang fan. Her stationery is so tasteful, and chic at the same time. YES, stationery can be chic!

I love simple stationary too! I feel you that you don’t have to send a card that says Thank you so much you’re absolutley the best person and this is the best gift ever. Confusing… I like cards that simply get to the point like Thank you,Happy Birthday Simplicity is most always the best! tHANKS, Emily!
