Not So Mellow Yellow

I have, what some would consider, a love/hate relationship with sales. Though I’m always game to save money, I frequently end up questioning whether I’ve made a purchase because it’s something I want (I rarely need anything), or simply because it’s cheaper than usual. I can rest easy knowing that this is not the case with J.Crew’s Cashmere Argyle Ruffle Cardigan. A couple of months ago, I saw a woman wearing this yellow version and actually trotted after her hoping to find out where it was from. Sadly, she disappeared around a corner and I didn’t feel like flying after her. Luckily for me, I’ve reconnected with the sweater of my dreams, that’s such a playful take on the classic argyle cardigan. And, despite the newly reduced price of $95.99, it’s nice to know that I would have easily shelled out the extra $82 had I located it sooner.
