I typically shy away from billowy tops since they’re not terribly flattering, but after stalking this top on Urban Outfitters for weeks, I finally took the plunge. I embraced its naturally effusive shape and bought a size that’s quite larger than I’d normally wear, but I think it just adds to its breezy silhouette. As an added bonus, it somehow transforms into a streamlined top that I can just as easily tuck into tulip skirts and wide-legged trousers.

I love the idea of tucking it into wideleg trousers. How much did you size up from your normal size?
I think that it looks lovely! And there’s nothing wrong with having one piece that’s a bit billowy if other elements of the outfit are fitted to help create balance.

I’ve always had a ton of willowy tops (I get UBER BLOATED!) but was stuck with pairing them with pants…this look makes me wanna try it with skirts now (pencil, fitted ones no less).
