Not Gilty
August 19th, 2008
Up until recently, I had never fully embraced the idea of online shopping. I felt like the experience of sauntering through stores and running my fingers over the fabrics would get lost with the click of a mouse. Then I discovered Gilt Groupe. I’ve mentioned it before, but not until the arrival of my Mint Jodi Arnold Pleated Miniskirt this morning (a lovely $88 down from $264) did I truly appreciate the beauty of indulging myself with zero effort. Gilt Groupe certainly plays into my competitive nature, seeing as how every brand only goes on sale for a mere 36 hours, making my Mint Jodi Arnold find all the more rewarding.

I’ve already decided that little bubble skirts are going to be my official uniform for Fall and I absolutely adore this one’s preppy pleats and ruching on the bottom. Of course I put it on immediately and paired it with a Forever 21 top, my favorite vintage belt, my grandfather’s gold bracelet and my Alberta Ferretti Philosophy wooden sandals.
Since Gilt Groupe is invite only, just include your email address in a comment if you’d like me to grant you access!

love the vintage double belt. I never thought balloon dresses are good for any shape but you look good in them. it helps to have a slender figure and skinny waist!!
Thanks for stopping by my site.. your site is great….love the name and love that outfit….so fabulous.. I think I’m going to have to try a little skirt like that and I love the idea of doing your list of things that make you happy… I might have to give that a try!

I’m a part of the GILT groupe, too – but I have yet to buy anything..
