As cooler weather approaches, my desire for summery printed dresses begins to fade and I instinctively drift towards neutral-colored basics. Here’s a list of my must-haves for Fall.
Clockwise, from left:
Necklace: Cynthia Dugan, Braided Leather Necklace. The ideal piece of jewelry that adds a seductively substantial element to any plain top.
Scarf: Forever 21, Herringbone Scarf. The fringe details and diagonally shaped squares add a playful touch to this classic pattern.
Blazer: Abaete, Laura Blazer. A flirty, form-fitting twist on a masculine staple.
Sandals: Nine West, Adya. The three patent straps are a sexy addition to these peep-toe pumps that I’d pair with some brightly colored tights.
Sweater Vest: Free People, Sweater Cape. A wonderfully oversized hooded cape that will be a cozy option for crisp Autumn mornings.
Knee Socks: JCrew, Argyle Knee-High Wellie Socks. A preppy alternative to tights, that I’d pair with some lace-up oxfords.
Cropped Pants: Marc by Marc Jacobs, Brushed Twill Cropped Pant. Voluminous in all the right places with a slim waist and tapered legs.
Beret: dELiAs, Brynn Chunky Knit Beret. A chic alternative to the pony tail that transforms a bad hair day into a Parisian-inspired look.
Purse: Ginette Etc, Doble Martini Bag. This metallic leather handbag begs to be paired with some motorcyle boots and the prettiest pink makeup.
