Cupcakes and Cashmere

I’ve never commented on your blog even though I’ve been reading it for a couple of years. But I must say that this outfit is a complete miss. The individual pieces are good, but they don’t go in an ensemble together.
For a business meeting, you could have worn the top with a pencil skirt and kicked it up with some fabulous shoes.
The skirt would have looked stunning with a crisp tailored (not tight) long-sleeved button down. A pair of matching pink pumps would have finished off the look. I don’t even mind the headband as it adds a bit of fun and whimsy.
But that top and skirt should stay far, far away from each other.
