Neck Lace
Vintage Dress, Belt and Bag, Costume National Booties
I love long, lazy weekends and this one was particularly slow and enjoyable. One of the few ventures outside of my apartment was to the flea market, where I found what could easily be described as my perfect dress. The winter florals and Peter Pan lace collar couldn’t be sweeter and the short, swingy length adds a flirty touch. I threw it on for a late coffee date and for the first time in months, I ordered it hot.

I think you’re one of those talented people who can score great purchases in flea markets. I finally tried going to one but I couldn’t get anything interesting enough.:(

Cute outfit, beautiful heels!
Shows how old I am, I had a dress like that in the ’70’s. Didn’t accessorize as cute as you have…that’s for sure. Good find.
What a fun find. I usually skip over the clothes section at flea markets, but clearly I need to give it a look!
The perfect date outfit. So playful and sweet- really the most perfect find!
Lovely without be corny!!!
Linda!

Such a pretty dress, Emily! So feminine, so you! And hot coffee? YES!
You have a stunning pair of “gams” on your lady! You look very sweet in that dress.
I love the booties!
Pretty dress! And I love the photo of the tree!
Holy moly! Wish I had the gams to pull off a hemline that short. You look great, lady!
I want those shoes!
Great outfit. I love the shoes, they are fantastic. I totally love the look and the trees in the pictures. It’s all very Autumn
so cute from head to toe! i used to live in little floral dresses like this, but with black tights and and combat boots…these booties are so much more chic and sophisticated. i’m going to use this as inspiration to “grow up” one of my favorite teenage looks!
Those booties are hot – and I am not a bootie person…
great dress and shoes!

Love it all- the booties are gorgeous.
I also like your play on words: necklace/neck lace- clever!
love the shoes!!
you really can pull off anything, gorgeous lady.
Super cute dress, love the collars.
The dress is gorgeous I agree!! But shoes have a rock’n'roll or punk touch and are not the most appropriate -to my mind- shoes for this outfit , but either way, you look great!
I adore Peter Pan collars. You look gorgeous!
your accessories made that dress, I would have passed it by at the the flea market, but you made it look awesome
you look like tinkerbell! so cute!
How adorable. I love the dress, and of course, I die for those shoes!!!
Yep. We would DEFINITELY have had to fight over this one if we saw it together ; -)
This is gorgeous on you!!
Email me when you are thrift shopping ready.

So cute! Your flea market finds amaze me.
Cute booties!
i think that if i were to go to a flea market i would just leave disappointed because there’s no way i could find as cute of stuff as you do.
Especially love how you accessorized the dress with the belt, booties and great bag!

The print of your dress is so incredibly pretty! And that last photograph is beautiful. Hope you’re having a lovely day
Your vintage finds have made me want to venture out into my own city and see what is hiding on each rack. All things old are new again. Love it.
Darling outfit. So cute.

What a darling dress. What a find! The shoes are pretty sick too!
That really is a great find, hon!
you always have the prettiest photos in your entries!
and i loooove the lace collar on your dress!
I love those booties; I’ve been thinking about experimenting with that style, but I worry. Do you find your feet stay, or slip? Is it more like wearing pumps with some added details, or unlaced boots?
that dress is divine! thaank goodness for amazing vintage dresses!
Love the lace! I have to start going to these flea markets…And I fell in love with your booties – though I second Kristophine’s comment. Are they a snug fit, comfy enough to walk around in, or are they a pair in which you must step carefully?
Gorgeous!
This is too perfect for my eyes.
Ahhh.
Absolutely adorable. I picked up a thrifted dress last week and wore it the other day too. Can’t beat a dress for $5.99 that doesn’t need altering!

WOW, what a great find! Especially at that length…normally the vintage dresses are to like, your ankles!
I just adore your blog, and you!
Always,

Aaaah thank you for giving me so much inspiration and even more courage to wear whatever I like, no matter what anyone else might say .
Fantastic look-perfect for almost Fall!
This is an adorable look. I’d say hot but the shape and material of the collar is begging adorable.

Those shoes make your ankles look impossibly thin! Love this whole ensemble.
Your booties are the sex! Haha, and I never say that.
xx. Shannon

Love the mix of vintage and not. You are so adept at taking pieces and totally changing their personalities…I would have never thought to put that dress with those booties….love it!
That’s just the sweetest little dress. I love lace collars.
In LOVE with the boots… I need to head over to the Fairfax Flea Market again…
adore! the belt and the booties are the perfect touch to that dress.
In the first photo, you look like a flower sprouting from your leafy shoes. Haha. Adorable outfit.

You’re my hero … Seriously. Not only would I never have thought of a combination like this, I’m not sure I could pull it off! Beautiful!

Hottie booties! Love ‘em.
That dress is so sweet…love the lace Peter Pan collar. I had a dress similar to it when I was little- this is the grown-up version! Love it.
the dress is really cute…especially with the boots!
Ah, that dress is the bees knees. So cute! It’s really hard to find something so cute without it also coming across as childish.
There is something very ironically cute about the “I ordered it hot” bit! Such an adorable little dress, Em. And I think the booties make the whole look.
you look adorable!
love the messy hair…it makes the outfit
Seriously, such an amazing dress! And perfectly accessorized!
LOVE the shoes!!!
Haha, love the title! And that’s a great find! I’m too much of a whimp to wear dresses like those x) .. You look amazing
I love that it isn’t 100% matronly with the short swing and pleating which makes it fun while maintaining the overall vintage vibe.
i have a vintage dress in the exact same print!!
The dress is great, but I love those shoes!
that dress is perfection!
Oh the dress is so pretty. I just hope a gust of wind doesn’t blow by! Thank heavens for Francie Pants.
