Nautical Natalie

The infiltration of navy and white always starts to make its way into my wardrobe right around Memorial Day Weekend. It’s such a crisp, clean combination of colors that adds a preppy element to any outfit. I began my search for a new, nautical piece for this summer, and was reminded of this image of Natalie Portman, with which I totally fell in love. With her black Converse, rolled up jeans and striped shirt, she’s classically chic and the vintage bicycle only adds to her appeal. Though nobody can pull off this look quite like her, I think J. Crew’s nautical-strip slub cotton dress, Forever 21′s H81 nautical-stripe dress and the Women’s Sweetheart Henley, from Old Navy, are all excellent options for setting sail this summer.
