I love Halloween. Really, you are never too old to celebrate! Bravo to you and your friend for heading off to the pumpking patch last year. Martha always has the best holiday ideas. I love the silhouettes – I did something similar last year with a picket fence, cats, full moon, stars, and bats. It turned out really great and I’ll be putting it up again this year

My husband & I have a Pumpkin Carving Party every year & invite all our friends… carving is so fun to do, but most of us wouldn’t bother to do it on our own (seeing as we have no kids!)- but as a group event it is always tons of fun! Plus everyone likes taking home toasted pumpkin seeds at the end of the night… yum!

I have decorated with the Martha Mouse idea for the last few years, and it has been a hit! I also hung black crows from our chandelier and kitchen cabinets (i should have taken pictures!). my friend did the window cutouts, and they were so fabulous. Everyone on the street loved them. Martha’s amazing – don’t you think?

Oh! I adore the paper mice idea–it’s lovely. I don’t have any regular Halloween traditions (sadly enough) but I like visiting corn mazes when I get the chance–it’s a lot of young people, but you can get away with a maze at any age…

We don’t celebrate Halloween here (only the people that want another excuse to party) but I always find this holiday very amusing. The paper mice are so cute and I love the glittered pumpkins!

My hubbo has a 12-year-old daughter who likes decorations, and when they moved in with me, they brought a glittery pumpkin and some other fun stuff, but it’s very “kid.” I bought an iridescent glass pumpkin last year, and I think I’ll start a collection, using that one as inspiration. I really like fall colors and decorations that reflect the season.
