Make Me Up
There are countless options when it comes to make-up and I’ve certainly tested out what seems like the majority of them. My bathroom cabinets are overflowing with new products with their lofty promises, but when it comes to my favorites, I have a select few that I’ve included below.
1. Mac Lipglass – Underage: Hands down, the best nude lipgloss out there
2. Tarte Cheekstain – Flush: A just-came-in-from-the-cold blush
3. Maybelline Define-A-Lash – Very Black: A jet black mascara that separates lashes flawlessly
4. Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer – Sand: Light coverage that creates a dewy finish
5. Benefit High Beam: A radiant sheen for cheeks, eyelids and lips
6. Body Shop Matte it Face: Absorbs excess oils for a shine-free canvas
7. Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick Compact: A deep, bronzy palette that I swipe over my eyelids
8. Burberry Brit Perfume: My signature fragrance that’s playful and seductive at the same time
9. Wide mouth Clutch in Orange: A worry-free colorful make-up bag

Ditto the Define-A-Lash and Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick; they are my staples. I’m looking for a new perfume, however, so I’ll have to give Brit a go; thanks for the tip.

Benefit has the best stuff. High Beam = amazing. But have you tried the Benetint? It sort of stains your fingers, so you have to use cotton, but my summertimes swear by it.

I love the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer! And I’ve tried several MAC lip glosses that are great, but I’ll have to pick up Underage!
Great beauty post! I also love Benefit High Beam, and the nude lipglass. Mac makes the best lip glosses, I love the smell and the texture, so creamy. I’m also all about the cheek stains, I usually also dab some on my lips.
I must try the Bobbi Brown shimmer, I’m looking for something different for my eyes!
I’d also love to see a post about your skincare picks sometime, I’m sure you have great stuff to recommend
Tarte cheekstain is definitely one of the essentials in my bag! Also, I think I am going to need to try out that mascara and those yummy eye colors… so lovely!

Great products! Burberry Brit is my favorite too, my husband and I both have it (his is the men’s version, of course), and it smells sooo good!

I’m right there with you on the Tarte (as you know) and I’ll definitely have to pick up some of these other ones to try. I love digging through your make up bag!
I like Laura Mercier products a lot, if you can learn how to apply the eye liner, it’s one of the best out there (need to skillfully apply with some water and a brush…I am not so coordinated so I only use it for special occasions when I have plenty of time)

I’ll have to look into that nude lipgloss from MAC! In high school I was obsessed with their lipglosses! Now I hardly ever wear lipgloss, just some Burt’s Bees.

I have got to say… UNDERAGE is by far my favorite nude lipgloss as well. I have tried a myriad of colors and nothing ever comes quite as close to perfection as this one!
