Urban Outfitters Top, H&M Skirt, Christian Louboutin Pumps
My birthday was back in May but for the past three months, I’ve been searching for the perfect pair of shoes, courtesy of my boyfriend. I wanted them to be classic, chic and super tall (I soon came to realize this didn’t narrow it down too much). Two weeks ago at Barneys, I found exactly what I was looking for. While I kind of resemble a baby deer when I first slip them on (mainly since I’m always trying to catch a glimpse of my red soles), I’m in love.

My dream shoes are Louboutin’s classic black pumps–like the ones Sandra Bullock wears in The Proposal poster, but with shorter heels.
I love any shoes from Manolo Blahnik or Dries van Noten. The best!

I bought my HG shoes a couple of years ago at Barneys. Louboutin, Mary Jane style, in black. So classic, I love them and they go with everything: even better!
Boyfriend of the year award!! I have yet to splurge on a pair of Louboutins, but they are hands down, bar none, at the tippety top of the list. This summer I’m all about flip-flops—no, actually one flip-flop and one broken foot boot. So, until I can get my own, I’ll just ogle yours. K, cupcake?! xx

Those are fabulous! I am CURSED with size 11 feet (of course, I’m 5″10 so it fits but it still sucks). I also live in Canada, where they give you the google eye if you’re anything above a size 9 (why do they suggest I try a 10 when they don’t carry 11? Do other people often buy shoes a size too small? (Sorry for the rant!) They look gorgeous on you and I love that top too!

the red soles kill me – they are the perfect match of classic, elegant and timeless – shoes are definitely an investment – if well kept they should never lose their value in my opinion! Love the shoes! My dream pair is also Cl, it’s the nude closed toe pump, but with a lower heel than yours. I tried them on during the insane Saks sale and they fit like a glove and were lightweight and so comfy. Turned out they were in the sale section by mistake =/ I think that was the closest I came to almost crying over a piece of clothing.

My dream shoes were Black patent leather mary janes by Manolo Blahnik which I got in 07′ for my b-day from the bestest hubby in the world! As if that’s not enough, I flew to NYC for a 4 days to celebrate my b-day & purchased my shoes at the Manolo store in Manhattan!
