Living Room

Since I’ve only shown glimpses of each room (here, here and here), I figured I’d share a few photographs of my not-quite-finished living room. There’s still no art on the walls and I’ve yet to find the perfect pillows and blankets, but I can say with certainty that it now feels like home. It’s cozy and comfortable, with a full bar, a large TV and plenty of places to sit. Plus, there’s something about the exposed beams, fireplace and bookshelf that feels like an old study, which balances out my overly girly office quite nicely.

your place looks gorgeous! This is an apartment!? Doesn’t look like it at all! We moved around the same time and I am slowly getting my things together as well. I REALLY want to do those beamed ceilings in my living room as well as get a mantle! Little by little! I have so many things on my wishlist! haha I’m so happy for you and you new home! It’s exciting!

I love your area rug! I have the same colour/fabric couches by the looks of it. Do you have any suggestions for some not-to-expensive places online for area rugs? So hard to find the right one!
