My first weekend back in L.A. was just what I needed. I had planned on spending the majority of it on my couch, but the weather was so nice that sitting in the dark would have felt kind of pathetic. So instead I went to two Cinco de Mayo parties, hosted a bagel brunch, walked around Venice, saw a movie, and hung out with friends. All of that running around would have been nearly impossible in heels, so I stuck with some variation of oxfords or sandals the whole time.
