In 2012 the FDA tested hundreds of lipsticks for lead contamination and out of all the lipsticks they tested the color sensation line had the highest level of lead contamination (even Wet ‘n Wild did better). I swear by the same few lipsticks: a pale pink (Mac ‘Snob’ or ‘Playing Koi’ or Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in ‘Chance’), a pale nude (Mac ‘Myth’ or ‘Hue’) a bright pink/neon Red (Mac ‘Nikki Minaj’ or Chanel ‘Joyeuse’) and a true, dark red (Chanel ‘Fatale’ or Mac ‘Ruby Woo’), and then throw a different colour into the mix each season.
