Lusting for Leather

Up until recently, I was pretty skeptical about wearing leather. Sure, it was fine on my feet (here and here) and worn on my arm (this bag will always be my favorite), but it seemed a bit too rocker chick for my decidedly girly style. After I added this to my closet though, my feelings shifted almost instantly. As long as I add some frilly, feminine details, it feels completely natural and the juxtaposition is definitely something I’m going to be experimenting with this fall.

Normally I would say NO WAY to anything leather for pants or shorts but you may have changed my way of thinking. I also love that these can transport into Fall as well with some colorful tights and a blazer! Love!
Rachel Bilson did a similar thing today and the moment I saw it I thought of your story on leather shorts.

So I LOVE those shorts, however I tried to find them at Forever 21 and they are nowhere to be found! Does anyone know where I can find a pair for under $50 ?
BTW, Emily I love the whole look, not just the shorts… but they definitely stood out.
