Trina Turk Dress, Vintage Brooch (in hair) and Bracelets, Essie ‘Wicked’ Nail Polish, Chinese Laundry Bounty

I bought this Trina Turk striped number over year ago, but it wasn’t until the lovely Martha sent over these Chinese Laundry Bounty heels that I brought it out of my closet.  I had first seen these shoes in last month’s Lucky, but I had no idea how comfortable they would actually be considering they’re a towering 5″ high.

My parents arrive in L.A. today and I can’t wait for long walks, early breakfasts and lots of chats on my couch.  Have a fabulous weekend!

    loving those shoes. sad thing is, I am so freakin tall. 5’8 to be exact. which isn’t like giant but I shy away from sky high heels because then I AM a giant! :) luckily my bf is 6’1.
