The idea that lace is a fabric reserved for cooler months has always perplexed me. Due to its breathable configuration, it simply needs to be worn with tights, and up until recently, was something to which I was strongly opposed. Lately, I’ve begun to embrace the idea of stockings and am positively tickled every time I manage to incorporate a pair of Summer sandals into an October outfit. This Trina Turk blazer, with its tassel ties, was the perfect balance to the feminine feel of my skirt that I plan on shortening a good half a foot for more of a tulip shape.
