Cupcakes and Cashmere

Labor Day Getaway

September 6th, 2011

{Lavender from the farmers’ market}

Our trip to Portland was fantastic. I loved the tree-lined streets, the friendly people, and the wonderful, farm-fresh food. We hit up almost all of the places we had planned on (favorites included: Pine State Biscuits, the Saturday morning market at PSU, DOC, The Waffle Window, wine country, Teardrop Lounge, and Simpatica) and still managed to find some downtime to enjoy our hotel (Hotel Deluxe). I have a busy week ahead and leave for New York on Monday, proving just how much the lazy days of summer are officially over.

I got most of our trip ideas from the comments on your Portland post, so thanks so much for asking the question. Enjoy the rest of your week xo
