Kiss and Tell
Despite the fact that I live mere blocks from Rodeo Drive, I’m relatively unfazed by news pertaining to the relationships of celebrities. Given that information, you can imagine my embarrassment when I nearly shrieked with delight when I found out that Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling were seen cuddling over breakfast in Toronto on Thursday(especially because he no longer looks like this). Maybe it was that kiss they shared in the rain from ‘The Notebook’ that made me become so invested in their love, but nonetheless, it got me thinking:
What are my top 5 favorite movie kisses?
5. “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days” – Good movie? Eh. Hot bathroom make-out session? Very.
4. “Unfaithful”- Any movie that deems Richard Gere the ‘ugly’ one has got to be steamy.
3. “Notting Hill” – When the mega-movie star plants one on Hugh’s lips, it makes anything feel possible.
2. “Love Actually” – A man that travels to a country to declare his love for a woman in a language he doesn’t speak is a winner in my book.
1. “The Notebook” – Water makes anything more sensual, so when Ryan scoops her up in a storm, it’s the perfect culmination of events.

I remember Notting Hill and the notebook and I must say.. how could anyone forget that kiss in the rain! I really cried my eyes out watching that.

Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling’s kiss at the MTV awards for “Best Kiss” was better than the movie!
When my sister and I were little we used to watch the kiss from Little Women over and over because a huuuuuge gob of spit passes from Joe’s mouth to the dude’s mouth (can’t remember his name). I’m not sure so much that it’s my favourite movie kiss, but definitely my most memorable.
Actually, notebook is probably my #1 as well. Stoked about the news of their togetherness
Wow, now you have me thinking….you have some pretty perfect ones here. I think the Rachel and Ryan kiss is probably my first or close to first one…mmmm….now I am going to be thinking about this all day (not a bad thing).
You know, I never though about that. Hmmmm…Unfaithful was full of a lot of hot ones, but the Notebook was a lot more endearing. I vote the Notebook.
And call me late, but I didn’t even know they were together. LOL. I’m not one for celeb relationships either.

I like the kissinc scene in Titanic when they shouldn’t see eachother anymore, but meet eachother after all. Apart from that I barely remember other kissing scenes right now.

Oh man, nothing to add I’m afraid. I Netflix The Notebook, Notting Hill, and love Actually every time my man goes out of town. So melodramatic, so over the top. I cry every time.

ugh unfaithful is such a hot movie. i think that movie that they are both going to be in “nights in ro-something” looks chick flick heaven.
i got so excited about rachel and ryan too, i heart them.
and the notebook and love actually’s kiss scenes are definitely in my top list of kissing scenes. i also love the kiss at the end of speed, but then again i just love that whole movie, haha.
They are so adorable together. I am in love with the NoteBook, and I so love Unfaithful, Olivier is incredibly sexy.

Hands down my favorite movie kiss is The Notebook. They just sizzled on screen together and they were so real. You just wanted them to work out through all the fighting, the separation, the other man, her family… I don’t get tired of seeing this movie over and over again.

I love the kiss that surpasses all the other 5 most passionate and pure kisses ever in the Princess Bride (the end scene).
I also love in Willow where Madmartigan and Sorcha kiss for the first time in the middle of the battle and she doesn’t even like him, but kisses him back anyway.

and ummm, pretty much any scene where they are kissing in the rain after having a big fight or not seeing each other for years and years. There are way too many movies with this criteria to name them all, but it gets my heart aflutter each time!

My all time favorite movie kiss is Audrey Hepburn and George Peppard in Breakfast at Tiffany’s! There is so much build up to it with the music and the rain and the lost cat. It gets me EVERY time!

Moonstruck, ( I know this is weird but ) the first Rocky movie, Casablanca is classic. Recentley I liked the kissin Brokeback Mountain. Annie Hall is freakin perfect.
