June Gloom

Every year, at the beginning of summer, Los Angeles enters a paradoxical phase called “June Gloom.” Overcast, damp mornings are met with blazing afternoons, which makes getting dressed in the morning slightly challenging. Rather than sulking in multiple dreary layers, candy-colored heels add an unexpected pop of color to your feet that will certainly brighten up any gray morning.

Yick, the weather in London has been rather poor as of late too. We a day in the sun, following by humid days with rain everywhere!

I remember June gloom when I lived in california – it is kind of depressing. On the east coast now its just getting nice (finally). Love the shoes.

It’s funny, I shop for bathing suits when it’s cold/rainy out. I just got one yesterday. It’s bright yellow with stripes — very cute! It boosted my spirits on these crappy California rainy days!
