When we first decided to go to Italy after our wedding, I started saving up for what I deemed my “honeymoon purchase.” I didn’t know what that item would be, but I wanted to find something that would be classic, versatile, and that I could wear for years and years. I found this coat in Florence and love its edgy take on typical trench coat, but with a timeless shape.

Love this trench and the concept of a “honeymoon purchase”! My honeymoon purchase was a limited edition Bottega Veneta wallet that was available only in Asia and Hawaii (I honeymooned in Hawaii). It’s been nearly 4 years since my honeymoon, and I love having a daily reminder of the happiest trip I’ve ever taken. I’m sure you will as well.

I know exactly what you mean Emily! I did the same thing on my honeymoon and got myself a classic black Prada evening clutch . Now when my hubby and I go on a date I always take it with me and it reminds me of our honeymoon. I have the classic version of that trench and I agree with you – it’s something you can pass down to your daughter . So happy for you!!
