Cupcakes and Cashmere

In a New York Minute

June 10th, 2010

Yesterday we jumped on an earlier flight than scheduled and were so happy to get home before dark (and to miss the rain that eventually hit New York).   I love discovering new places to visit every time I’m in the city and somehow I’m always amazed at just how diverse and beautiful the city truly is.   Throughout our many (fabulous) meals, meetings, parties and events, we snapped some pictures of just a few of the things that I wanted to remember most.

{I loved walking along the water and looking up at the Brooklyn Bridge at dusk.}

{The hour-long line was well worth the wait at Grimaldi’s.  It was easily the best pizza I’ve ever had.}

{I was set on enjoying an ice cream cone by the water, but after we devoured the entire pizza by ourselves, it wasn’t going to happen.}

{Central Park never ceases to amaze me.  The last time I went (here), it was covered in snow.}

{The weather was so perfect that we made sure to eat as many meals as we could outside.}

    I miss New York SO much it hurts. Central Park especially, is one of my favorite places in the world. (And that’s saying a lot, coming from an Italian ;-) ) Thank you for sharing these lovely pics and re-awaking happy memories!
